Birthday Walk

To celebrate my birthday, I treated myself to one of my favorite things - a walk. I headed out from home and stopped in at the library. With my errand taken care of, I got coffee and a bagel and walked Reston's great paths. This time was especially nice because I didn't have to worry about getting home to relieve Frank from taking care of Zach. I truly love walking with Frank and Zach, but I also love independent walks that give me time to think. Walking is a balm for my soul! I made it to Lake Anne, pictured above, and took a few minutes to relax on the Plaza. I continued on and had to capture one of the many streams that are a hallmark of Reston's paths.
