44-4-44, Ode to a Fan, and More

44-4-44 | as of my birthday, we are all 4's!
Ode to a Fan | I bought a small, nondescript fan, and I carry it around the house to keep me cool. I love it.
The Fordams
  • Picnics
  • A different schedule, but totally rolling with it
  • Superheroes are still a hit!
  • We listened to Madonna’s True Blue album
Susan's Birthday
  • Auntie Em got me some shrubs. We had ice cream sundaes.
  • So many books! Great Harvest and Peets gift cards to keep my perfect mornings going

  • Visits to Gamma and Daddy Bob's
  • Trying to remember to connect emotionally and that behavior may be normal and not acceptable.
  • He's been pretty great about my wounds and understanding that he has to be gentle. He's also said, "We don't love you," and acted as if he was glad that I couldn't go to the pool. :( This behavior may be normal but it is not acceptable.

Sleep Update
We got into "telling scary stories" somehow and that was a bit of a setback. Worried about scary dreams. I'm trying to promote sleep. My mantra: sleep is magical

Connecting with family and friends: Laura Friend, Virginia, Lauren Bloom, and Tiffany. When Emily had to go in for a second surgery, we connected late at night and early in the morning. :) Mary from 78 Acres gave flowers. :)
  • Uncle Jim
Happiness is based on happening, whether things are going right. Joy is about alignment with your purpose. Something that gives you a sense of meaning. Joy is much bigger and more important. (As defined by Dr. Emily Nagoski)
