Work is going well for me and Frank. We're managing to keep all the balls in the air, though it definitely makes for long days. The spring weather makes our daily walks a lot easier. Frank and I get in some good conversations, and Zach gets a nap. He's not so good at napping at daycare or napping in general. He only takes short cat naps, which we can live with because he sleeps 9-10 hours at night pretty consistently.
Our trip to Tennessee was great. We first drove to Gamma and Daddy Bob's and had a fun afternoon/evening together and dined on mom's spaghetti. Saturday brought a blast back to winter, so when we left, it was snowing! The drive down was beautiful: white snow, purple red buds, blooming dogwoods, and mountains. We stopped at Harvest Table, and even if Zach hadn't been easy going (as he was), there was hardly anyone there for us to disrupt. We all enjoyed a rejuvenating lunch and finished the drive to Johnson City. Jim and Terri were excellent hosts, and we had lots of good family time. Marney introduced Zach as her great, great-grandson. We took that as the equivalent of her terrific great-grandson!
